They either did something with the drop system or it's likely a bug that resets found items (hiding them/revealing them), which is also causing more items to drop. Might only be for a few days until the problem gets resolved with steam cloud/tf2 servers. |

I am getting more drops on my secound account, i hit the cap last thursday but got two drops yesterday and 4 today.This is definately NEW items.
my main accout is refusing to give me anymore but i think its because i idle to the cap before steam cloud messed up and i dont have the disapearing/reapearing items on this account. |

AND AGAIN, my items recently found including metal are outside my backpack.
This is really starting to piss me off.

| Today I got 5 new items, after two days without a single drop. It was weird because the reset usually happens wednesday at night. But the problem with old items dropping again still persists. |

It's settled, new reset is possibly on Monday.

I don't know if you can jump the gun on that alone. Doesn't seem likely they would reset the day to Monday, I'm more towards believing it's a bug thats causing this. TF2 team would've released information on their blog if they were re-vamping the item system which I'm sure they have no intentions to do so. |

Yep, happened to me again today as well. At least when they fell back into my backpack there were a couple new items among them (another skullcutter and a SoHo.)
But seriously, the drop servers are really screwed up this week; I've gotten at least two weeks worth of items in the past ~7 days, and I'm getting items again (just got a buff banner a couple hours ago.) |

I've started finding items AGAIN.
Okay, i have a theory here:
Either the reset is on monday and it reset the cap, in which this glitch with people re-finding items is occuring
OR
It's been changed to a daily cap, which is causing this same glitch.
I'm praying it's the daily cap.
